In honor of my birthday last Wednesday, I’ve got a fantastic gift for you today.
Every year, I like to give something for my birthday as a thank you to folks who are on my email list and now for everyone who reads the Email Marketing Ecosystem newsletter here on my website, as well as on LinkedIn, Substack, and Medium.
This year, your birthday gift from me is my brand-new Custom Subject Line Generator.
I alluded to this in last week’s issue and now here it is, ready for you to try for yourself.
This AI-based tool takes some basic information about your business and creates 3 subject lines and writing prompts customized to your business.
No more generic, commonly used “gotcha” subject lines that show up repeatedly in everyone’s inboxes.
No more wondering what to write about, once you’ve found a subject line that might be applicable to your business.
Now, you can get 3 subject lines and writing prompts customized specifically to your product or service, your next blog post, or whatever topic you want to write about.
All you have to do is enter:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Who you are – Your basic job description
- What you sell – A short description of your product or service
- Who you serve – A description of your Ideal Customer Avatar
- A Weekly Topic – Something specific you want to write about (this is optional, leave it blank if you don’t have any ideas)
- Your Tone of Voice – You’ll see a dropdown menu for basic options. There’s also an option for “Other” that lets you add your specific tone of voice, if you have one.
Then just click on the button and in a few minutes, you’ll receive 3 customized subject lines and writing prompts in your inbox.
Just for giggles, I ran a test using a totally made-up business for a costume designer who makes superhero costumes for children. My chosen topic was how to measure your kid for their costume. The answers I got were great and totally usable for a nurture email, were I still making costumes for a living.

The nice thing about this tool is you can be as general or as specific as you want with your input and still get good answers. The more specific you are, the more customized the subject lines and writing prompts will be.
Again, if you don’t know what you want to write about, leave the Topic section blank. Enter as much information as you can about your business and your ideal customers into the tool. It will come up with ideas for you based on whatever you give it.
I’ve had several members of my Email Writing Accountability Group test it and they all love it. They’re getting great responses and are using them to write their weekly nurture emails.
Go give it a try for yourself!
The whole point of the Custom Subject Line Generator is to make it easier for you to write your weekly nurture emails. That way, you’ll actually do it!
Once your subscribers are hearing from you regularly, you’ll see that relationship with them grow and become a supportive community.
You’ll increase your sales, grow your business, and move closer to accomplishing the mission you set out to achieve when you started your business, however large or small that mission may be.
Enjoy my birthday gift to you. Use it as often as you’d like. it’s there as a tool to help you write your nurture emails.
If you have any comments, ideas, or questions about the Custom Subject Line Generator, please comment below or email me here. I’d love to hear your feedback so I can make this tool even better and more helpful for you.
And please feel free to share this tool with all of your friends and fellow business owners. I’d love for it to help lots of people write their nurture emails.
Finally, this week’s picture is of a strikingly handsome male Red-Winged Blackbird who posed very nicely for me while I was on a recent walk in Loring Park in Minneapolis, MN.
