Wishing You Happy Holidays and a Bright, Wonderful New Year

December 21, 2020 by Tanya Brody Leave a Comment

My Christmas tree with a black cat sniffing it.

Happy Holidays from me and Irusan! (You can see him sniffing the tree in the right lower side of the picture.)

This is my traditional, very short holiday blog post to wish you and yours a wonderful holiday season, whichever you partake in, and a fabulous new year.

Let’s face it, 2020 has thrown wrenches in just about every plan we’ve made, in some way or another. It’s been a heck of a year and I hope 2021 treats the entire world much better than its predecessor.

I will say, 2020 has had its own odd rewards. While I was struggling along with everyone else to keep my business afloat, I took some time to work on my business as opposed to in my business. I’ve made some improvements and added new products and services. I increased my own education and learned a bunch of new marketing skills. What else was I going to do with all that downtime?

For me, this means I’ve set 2021 up to be a banner year. I’ll update you on more of this as we move into January.

I hope you and your business have survived the crazy year that 2020 has been. I also hope you have had time to make potential improvements to your business, so 2021 see you not only surviving but thriving.

Have a wonderful holiday season, which I hope you’ll get to spend with friends and family, even if it is over Zoom.

Talk to you next week.

Have you ever opened your ESP or CRM and wondered where on earth all these subscribers came from and how they found you in the first place? This is what happens when you don’t use email marketing tags to keep track of your subscribers and customers.

Unfortunately, it’s easy to let your email list become a bit of a mess if you don’t have a way to identify which subscribers came from what opt-in or who has or hasn’t made a purchase.

Tagging subscribers and customers when they join your email list, and throughout their buyer’s journey makes it easier to track their progress and send the right message at the right time.

Why You Should Include an Email Autoresponder In Your Email Marketing

December 8, 2020 by Tanya Brody Leave a Comment

Email Autoresponder

Your goal, once you get a new subscriber into your system is to keep them engaged and reading the content you’re sending. An email autoresponder is a great way to make that happen.

After all, when you use email marketing to engage potential customers, you get $44 back for every $1 you put in, on average. That’s a 4400% ROI.

The next question is, what should you send your new subscribers in your email autoresponder?

The 9 Components that Need to Go Into Your Email Welcome Sequence

December 1, 2020 by Tanya Brody Leave a Comment

email welcome sequence

I’ve talked before about the difference between your email nurture sequence and your email welcome sequence.

In short, your email nurture sequence is what you send your subscribers over time to nurture them as they move toward becoming customers.

Your email welcome sequence is much more specific. It is the first impression your new subscribers get after they’ve opted in for your lead magnet. Get this piece of your email marketing strategy right and you’ll turn those subscribers into customers, even if it takes some of them a while to get there.
