If so, you’ve seen email marketing automation in action.

It’s a very powerful and useful tool to capture more attention and get more subscribers to convert into customers, as well as to get current customers to buy again.

Can You Use AI to Write Your Marketing Emails?

Everyone is up in arms about how artificial intelligence (AI) is taking over marketing and copywriters and marketers are going to lose their jobs or become obsolete.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah….

All of this came to a head when ChatGPT became the big story last December and everyone was predicting it would change the way everyone did everything, from writing computer code to writing the Great American Novel.

This especially became a story in the digital marketing world, because so many people predicted this marvelous new tool would replace copywriters.

Several digital marketing gurus jumped on this bandwagon and created courses purporting to show you how to use AI to “revolutionize your business.” I’ve seen a few that claim you can use AI to write all of your marketing copy in minutes too.

One of the questions I am regularly asked is, “how often should you email your list?”

My standard answer is, “Once a week is a good email frequency. Send more nurture emails if you’re willing to put in the time and effort.”

Unfortunately, I find that a lot of business owners really want to email their lists regularly, but they’re afraid to do it. Which is genuinely a shame, because your subscribers want to hear from you! That’s why they signed up for your emails in the first place.

Apple iOS 15 Updates Make Email Click-Through Rates Your Primary Metric

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again… Email is not dead. It’s not even badly wounded.

It is changing, due to the Apple iOS 15 update and will probably change again because of further updates by Apple and Google.

The main change is that your most important metric is now your email click through rates, instead of your email open rates.
